1999 Lamborghini Diable Roadster VT

I had my Lamborghini for about 3 years, and ultimately ended up selling it because I wasn't driving it very much. In 3 years, I drove it less than 5000 miles because I wouldn't drive it in bad weather, and was very mindful of where I was going and how difficult it would be to find a good parking space. It was fun while it lasted!

Fox News

July 6, 2000 - I was at the Lamborghini dealer and a reporter from the local Fox 35 News station stopped by and used my car for a news program. The premise of their news story was a speed comparison of types of modems for internet connection, and they used different cars as analogies to modems. My Lamborghini Diablo was used to represent the DSL modem.

Orlando Auto Show

Nov 22-26, 2000 - My Diablo was displayed at the Central Florida International Auto Show (part of a "trade" I negotiated with Ultimate Motorworks for storing my racing Porsche 944 while the detached garage was under construction). The picture and text below was published in the Orlando Sentinel on Nov 26, 2000.

"While the grown-ups were looking at new vehicles at the Central Florida International Auto Show at the Orange County Convention Center, Justin Cheng, 6, (above [not pictured]) watches a small version of NASCAR racing with remote-control cars. Plenty of people checked out the Lamborghini (left). The car can go 0-62 in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of more than 200 mph."
